The Thomas Young Centre (TYC), the London Centre for Theory and Simulation of Materials, is a 'virtual institute' that brings together researchers from different departments and institutions, particularly in London. The London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN) is a multi-disciplinary enterprise operating at the forefront of science and technology. It has a unique operating model that accesses and focuses the combined skills of the departments of Chemistry, Physics, Materials, Medicine, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Earth Sciences. TYC-LCN@Imperial is an informal seminar series that is held every Monday from 12-1pm, usually in Room G.02, The Royal School of Mines, Imperial College London [MAP].

Talks are 30 minutes in length, followed by 30 minutes of discussion over a light lunch, which will be provided.
